Named “the future of the mandolin” by Mandolin Magazine, and dubbed “one of the most important young improvisers on the acoustic scene today” by mandolin legend David Grisman, Josh Pinkham has established himself as a consummate performer, composer and recording artist.  His love of music has led him to exploring both new music and the classics of every genre. Known for his live performances, every solo is a testament to his scholarship of Bluegrass, Newgrass, Jazz and Classical improvisation.  Currently a member of Kittel & Co.,  Josh tours full time with Jeremy Kittel and the band: Nathaniel Smith (cello), Quinn Bachand (guitar), and Simon Chrisman (hammered dulcimer) promoting their new album, Whorls.  Click here to buy the album, available through Compass Records.
